Everything is almost ready to be shipped to you!

A portion of the books arrived to me in Chicago for turning into all of your wonderfully "special" editions! 2,500 pounds worth! Shipping of everything will begin very very soon--so if you've moved since surveys went out in August, please message me your new address and I will update it. Last call!

The rest went to the fulfillment company we are now using because we had way more orders then ever anticipated--which is an amazing situation to have and y'all rule! These things require forklifts that I don't have ;)

I've finished almost all of the special editions. Charles and I are just finishing the sketch cards and Charles has made all the spell and curse cards. Very close to being finished with every element of the kickstarter (except for the concept album which Charles is working on).

 I've been posting a lot of process stuff on my social media channels so if you want to follow along I'm @ryanbrowneart on instagram.

Next update will be to notify you that packages are on their way! Thanks for following along and making this happen--it means the world to Charles and I and we know you'll be floored by the final product. THIS BOOK IS SO DAMN HEAVY. THANK GOD WE DIDN'T DO OVERSIZED. OOF!

Hi All! Quick update on the Curse Words omnibus.

I received my advance copy of the book and it looks absolutely perfect! AND HEAVY as expected! The colors are so much more accurate to the original print files. It's truly the definitive edition of Curse Words. 

SO NICE! The full shipment of 1750 books is being delivered this week. Once I get the horrifyingly large amount of books, I will start sketching and making various special editions. Full court press to get these bad boys out the door. 

SO! If you have changed your address or are moving before the end of the month, please let me know. Shipping will start very soon and I hope everything is done before Thanksgiving--so if you need to update your address, please message me through KS and I can do so. 

Thank you! Now the fun starts! I've been signing books plates and doing sketch cards. Getting everything ready to push out the door as fast as I can. Gonna be a trip!

Howdy, backers! Quick update before the weekend! 

All 1750 copies of the omnibus are floating their way to the states from Korea! In a boat, I've been told--which is the best way to float. It's taken QUITE a while, but the end (you getting your books) is in sight!

I should have the advanced copies at some point next week so I'll send you pictures--so nervous! Please have all the pages in the right order!

In addition, everything has been printed and is ready to go including the copies of AFTER WORDS and CURSE SWORD! Shirts are printed (super soft American apparel) as are hard enamel pins! 

Once the books are here most will go out within 72 hours. The rest that require sketches n' stuff will be produced as soon as possible. Gotta huge box of sharpies waiting for them. 

I'll let you know more when there is more to know. Almost book time!!!!

DIGITAL REWARDS HAVE BEEN SENT!

Howdy, y'all!

Most of your digital rewards have been sent! Check for a digital download email from Backerkit with links to pdfs. You should see Pdf parts one and two of the 768 page hardcover. The downloads were so big Backerkit needed me to break them up into two files. In addition you should have the Ryan Browne sketchbook of fun commissions I've been doing during the pandemic plus the very dumb and exciting Curse Sword 1! Can't wait for you guys to tell me how much that comic is nonsense.

Also if you backed "only the new stuff" you should have the After Words download. 

And SOON everyone will get pdfs of Charles' notebook (which is enormous and awesome), as well as a download of the audio drama. Charles has shared some demos of Curse Words songs and they are annoyingly awesome. HOW DOES HE DO IT? Curse Words album probably in Q2 of 2021 but it'll be worth the wait.

NOW! I'm sure most of you would rather read the physical book and not the PDF--so feel free to wait ;). In addition, print copies of After Words, Curse Sword, pins, and shirts have all be sent to press. All we need now is for those darn books to arrive!

An update from the printer is that 1:These books are enormous so they are taking longer than expected and 2:Hurricanes shut down the factory for a bit and moist (ew) air made ink drying times longer. Alllll of that equals books arriving to us on Halloween. Not what we wanted of course but just know this is realllly making Charles and I antsy. We are ready to ship everything as soon as we get it. C'mon books--I need to use these bedazzling jewels I bought!

Surveys have been sent. We are making the Curse Words vinyl record!

Howdy, all!

Team Curse Words has been working hard and everything is in place for the Kickstarter! Surveys were sent out today so check your email associated with this Kickstarter account. They are coming from a company called Backerkit that organizes shipments more efficiently on our end and allows you to add to your order if you feel like it. If you didn't get your survey, try this link. 

The books are still being printed. It's a 6-8 week process and the printer started production on August 17th--so it's been almost 5 weeks. So! Soon! We have everything ready and will have most books shipped out within 72 hours of receiving the shipment. Charles will be driving in his hermetically sealed "Soule Mobile" from NYC to Chicago in order to work with me on signing bookplates, doing sketch cards, and telling me what to do on drawings. Sleepover in my basement! Gonna be wild!

Some add-on fun! We will be pressing limited quantities of the Curse Words Concept Album! Charles has been writing and recording songs but this is quite a creative undertaking for him. You will see a preorder in your backerkit survey. The record will be finished in pressed sometime in the second quarter of 2021. Here's the work in progress cover.

Also in the survey you will be able to add physical copies of the stupidly wonderful CURSE SWORD 1 which is an issue of Curse Words rewritten by me with a cover by Charles. A Digital version of this is included in your order already but this is NOT included in the hardcover because it's incredible stupid and makes no sense. You'll love it! 

AND! There are physical add-on copies of CURSE WORDS AFTER WORDS--the new issue you guys funded. This issue IS included in the Hardcover but some people wanted it in single issue format for completist sake. 

I have adhesive jewels and bookplates and sketch cards and curse cards and stickers and so much more piling up around here! It wants to be in your home and it will be soon.
